The International Conference "Hadron Structure and Fundamental Interactions" (HSFI 2024) is organized by the St. Petersburg Institute of Nuclear Physics, St. Petersburg State University, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and the V.A. Fock Institute of Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
In 2007-2018, this conference combined a series of two conferences: "The Structure of hadrons (HS)", held in Slovakia since 1973, and "The Structure of hadrons and QCD (HSQCD)", held in St. Petersburg since 2004. Joint HSQC and HS conferences were held in Slovakia: 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and in Russia: 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018.
Since 2024, HSQCD conferences have become HSFI.
The purpose of this conference is to review the latest developments in hadronic physics, QCD, the standard model and its generalizations.

The conference gathers about 400 participants from various regions of Russia, near and far abroad. It is traditionally attended by scientists from higher educational institutions and scientific organizations, as well as undergraduates and postgraduates conducting research in various fields of physics and astronomy.
The main objectives of the Conference are to develop regional and international scientific cooperation, create conditions for the exchange of ideas and research results, systematize current issues, identify trends in the development of scientific research, and publish peer-reviewed papers in the international scientific press. Since 2012, extended abstracts of the Physics conference reports.St. Petersburg in English is published in the journal of Physics: Conference Series (IOP Publishing), indexed by Web of Science and Scopus.
The Conference Program Committee pays great attention not only to the fundamental, but also to the applied significance of the presented reports, which makes it possible to combine the entire spectrum of physical sciences, including astrophysics, plasma physics, solid state physics, semiconductor physics and biophysics, in one conference.
