The objectives of the meeting were the exchange of experience in the field of modern trends in solid state theory with an emphasis on semiconductor physics, as well as bright experimental achievements in the physics of semiconductor low-dimensional systems. The purpose of the meeting was to develop the theory of solids and identify the most important and relevant areas of condensed matter physics. The meeting is a continuation of the Meetings of the theory of solids, which were held in FTI im. A. F. Ioffe in 2009, 2016, 2019, 2021 and 2023, and regular Meetings on the theory of semiconductors held under the leadership of L. V. Keldysh and V.I. Perel in the past.

The conference was devoted to the issues of thermoelectric energy conversion. The focus is on fundamental research, the development of new materials and the practical application of thermoelectric technologies. This is the only scientific conference in Russia and the countries of the former USSR that fully covers this field. Within the framework of the conference, a special section for young scientists was held, including oral and poster presentations.

The conference featured presentations in all fields of physical sciences, including astrophysics, plasma physics, solid state physics, semiconductor physics, and biophysics.Much attention was paid not only to the fundamental, but also to the applied significance of the presented reports.
